While working on our own NBA Finals prediction, we thought why not take a look at what everyone else was saying and put it all together.
A simulation run 10,000 times unsurprisingly has the Lakers winning the series, in 6 games. However, I’m guessing (though I don’t know for sure) that the algorithm has no way of measuring how “hot” a team is, which is exactly the reason the Magic could win the title. If the Magic shoot lights out like they’ve been doing, it will be hard to stop them.
This story has the Magic winning in 6, surprisingly though. After reading the article, it really only convinced me more of the Lakers’ ability to come through in the Finals. It points out that rookie Courtney Lee will be trying to contain Kobe Bryant, which could mean a huge series for Bryant, and when that happens…
SportsJudge Blog breaks down the position-by-position matchups for the series, and predicts that the Lakers will overcome the two losses to the Magic they faced in the regular season and will win the series in 6 games.
Apparently, someone missed the boat. According to him , the Lakers will definitively beat the Cavaliers in the NBA finals. Oh well.
Shockingly, this Celtics fan predicts Orlando wins the series, though he focuses on his strange love for Pau Gasol, and why he may be the best passer in the league.
Across the web, there are a variety of opinions. Really, there is only one conclusion I can make: No matter what team people are picking, they all predict a victory in 6 games. Can someone please call for a sweep?

If Orlando stays “hot” I think they win in 7. I just hope if Jameer comes back he doesn’t mess with the Magic (pun intended) that boosted them above the Cavs and LeBron.
