Beat The Streak
Beat the Streak is a nice feature offered on MLB.com. Basically, you pick one player per day, and if that player gets a hit, it starts or continues your streak. If he doesn’t, you go back to zero. If you’re the first person to get a streak up to 57 in a season, you win a million bucks. It’s great. So we decided we would each play this game every day, and let you know who our picks are. Every time one of our streak’s ends we will erase all of our selections from that streak.
Seth’s Picks (Current: 2, Longest: 17)
August 4, 2009–Scott Rolen (vs. Tom Gorzelanny). A couple of trade deadline guys.
August 5, 2009–Don’t remember, but I got it right
August 6, 2009–Jason Kubel (vs. Fausto Carmona). Good history against a pitcher in tough times, what’s not to like?
Steve’s Picks (Current: 5, Longest: 7)
August 1, 2009–Orlando Hudson (vs. Derek Lowe). (1-3, 2B)
August 2, 2009–Ichiro (vs. Scott Feldman). (2-4)
August 3, 2009–Justin Upton (vs. Nelson Figueroa). (1-5)
August 4, 2009–Joe Mauer (vs. David Huff). (3-5, 3 2B)
August 5, 2009–Carl Crawford (vs. Brad Penny). (1-3, HR)

seth i think you need to get youk in there somewhere. more sox = better chance. sorry adam. how bout that yanks sox series though? ouch. p.s. seth, if you win a million we’ll celebrate the red sox world series win in a BIG way.
low blow ace, low blow. we’ll see what happens in the next series.
just a suggestion: give the line of the player picked so we can see how well he did during the game
Thank you for listening to my input.
Another suggestion: show your longest streaks so now you’re battling to have the record as well. For example,
Seth’s Picks (Current Streak:0, Longest Streak:15)
Seth I can’t belive you chose Jeter have you betrayed me or something. No wonder steves beating
