Our hope is that the creation of DownSwinging.com will be one of your main stops when searching for that perfect, thirst-quenching sports analysis that many of us so badly desire on a daily basis. In a world where even The Worldwide Leader in Sports has essentially become mlb.com (minus the columnists), we are a hopefully much-needed addition. For those of you who weren’t such regular readers of mlb.com in their youth, what we mean is that sports has become a cliché in itself, player interviews don’t matter, apologies are pre-written, and honesty is looked down-upon.
