Joe Beimel has been traded from the Nats to the Rockies.

Also it appears the Angels, Twins, Marlins and Dodgers are the four teams chasing Heath Bell in this final half-hour.

Jon Heyman from Sports Illustrated is reporting that Scott Rolen has been traded to the Reds. He still has to waive his no-trade contract though.

Red Sox are going to keep Casey Kotchman because they like him as a bench player. Sort of strange, but I guess it kind of makes sense. According to Ian Brown, Ortiz just yelled in the clubhouse: “I was just falling in love with LaRoche.”

Heyman says LaRoche for Kotchman deal is complete. Also, it looks like the Yankees are sending Austin Jackson to the Reds as the exchange for Hairston Jr, unconfirmed though.

Twins are out of Heath Bell trade talks.

Justin Masterson and Adam LaRoche are both still in Red Sox clubhouse. Wow that's got to suck.

Alonso/Encarnacion rumor may be false.

Also, rumor has it that even though deadline has passed the Angels may have pulled off a big trade. Everyone is thinking it: Did the Halos snag Halladay at the last second?

So much for before. Looks like the Marlins acquired Nick Johnson at the last second for a AA lefty.

In the last five minutes a Roy Halladay to Los Angeles Angels popped up. People said that Angels were doing something big at the very last second.

4:04 p.m. Joel Sherman pointed out via twitter that the Jays were only going to move Rolen if Halladay was traded.

4:07 p.m. ESPN says Jays and Angels are in discussion over Halladay

Looks like Wuertz is staying in Oakland.

Early reaction from the V-Mart trade is that the Sox are winners. Hagadone has good upside, but also is high risk.
