Why Man City Won’t Finish in the Top Four

Most Manchester City fans are ecstatic about the clubs prospects for the coming season, and why shouldn’t they be? At the very least, City will score bundles of goals, and be an extremely fun team to watch. But there are several reasons why we will be looking at the same ‘Big Four’ we’ve been looking at for 5 of the past 6 seasons. Its not a bias I may have on teams trying to break into the top four. In fact, on most occasions, I enjoy another team making a top four push, especially when it comes from a team with a modest budget. Seeing a free-wielding City break through doesn’t exactly scream David versus Goliath, but I can respect their effort.
