wengerWell, I’m still waiting for that to happen anyways.

It looks as though, Melo is about to put on the black and white of Juventus, while Arsene Wenger was unwilling to part with both Emmanuel Eboue and a significant amount of money. To be honest, I agree that Fiorentina were overpricing Melo, a man who looks a little too short tempered to be heavily relied on. But as you saw in my previous post, Arsenal need that killer defensive midfielder to cut out attacks in the early stages as well as turn defense into attack in one swift move. We can all agree that seeing Samir Nasri in the defensive role last season was a bit of a low point. Seeing such a creative, attacking midfielder subjected to the holding role was hard to watch. All of Arsenal’s current candidates for the position aren’t without their flaws. Denilson’s too small. Diaby’s too attacking-minded/ injury prone. Song has too little experience in the big games.
